B. Braun Quill PDA knotless suture material in detail

Quill PDO is available either uncoloured or purple and has a monofilament thread structure. The knotless wound closure system with barbs makes it possible to anchor the suture material in the tissue without having to knot it. On the one hand, this increases effectiveness and, on the other, eliminates problems that can be caused by knots. Resorption is essentially complete after around 120 to 180 days.
