Kamillosan in detail
Kamillosan® liquid is a versatile product that is suitable for external use for mild inflammation of the skin or oral mucosa and for inhalation in the case of colds. It contains a liquid extract of chamomile flower heads of true chamomile (Matricaria recutita), produced in a ratio of 4.7:1. The total ethanol content is 34.5 % (m/m).
Indications:
- External use for skin inflammations: Kamillosan® can be applied directly to affected skin areas to relieve mild inflammation.
- External use for inflammation of the oral mucosa: Kamillosan® is also suitable for the local treatment of mild inflammation of the oral mucosa.
- Inhalation for colds: By adding to the inhalation solution, Kamillosan® can be used to relieve cold symptoms.
Composition:
- Active ingredient: Liquid extract of chamomile flower heads of true chamomile (Matricaria recutita) in a ratio of 4.7:1.
- Excipients: Contains ethanol, sodium L-(+)ascorbate, sodium hydroxide and sodium acetate trihydrate.
- Ethanol content: The total ethanol content is 34.5 % (m/m).
Kamillosan® liquid thus offers a natural and proven option for the treatment of mild skin and mucous membrane inflammations as well as for supporting colds by inhalation.
