Fields of application:
Corneregel® is suitable for the treatment of corneal and conjunctival injuries. It supports the healing process in non-inflammatory corneal diseases, such as injuries caused by contact lenses or foreign bodies, as well as burns and chemical burns.
Active ingredients and excipients:
- Active ingredient: 50 mg dexpanthenol
- Excipients: Water for injections, disodium edetate-2-water, cetrimide, carbomer 980, sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment
Double effect of the eye gel:
- Accelerate the healing process: The proven active ingredient dexpanthenol promotes wound healing and regeneration of the cornea.
- Well tolerated: Ideal for long-term use.
Rapid regeneration:
Dexpanthenol is converted into provitamin B5 in the cells and thus supports the natural healing process and rapid regeneration of the cornea. The good tolerability enables long-term use.
Recommendation for use:
- Tilt head backwards.
- Pull the lower eyelid downwards with one finger.
- Hold the tube vertically over the eye and place a drop in the conjunctival sac.
- Close the eye and move it back and forth to distribute the gel.
- Close the tube with the protective cap after use.
The cap serves as a stand and makes application easier. Remove contact lenses before use and only reinsert after 15 minutes.
Safety warning:
Corneregel® can temporarily impair visual performance and the ability to react. Therefore, you should not drive or operate machinery during this time.

Corneregel® active ingredient: dexpanthenol. Indications: Treatment of non-inflammatory corneal diseases (keratopathies), corneal dystrophies, corneal degeneration, recurrent corneal erosions, corneal lesions in contact lens wearers, support of the healing process in corneal and conjunctival damage, chemical burns and burns, additional medication for infectious corneal processes.
