Dolormin® Extra is your solution for mild to moderate pain and fever. With the proven active ingredient ibuprofen in the form of ibuprofen-DL-lysine, Dolormin® Extra offers fast and long-lasting pain relief.
Active ingredient:
683.47 mg ibuprofen-DL-lysine per tablet.
Indications:
Dolormin® Extra is suitable for the symptomatic short-term treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache and menstrual pain as well as for reducing fever. It is suitable for children from 20 kg body weight (from 6 years of age), adolescents and adults.
Warning:
The medicine should not be used for pain or fever for longer than specified in the package leaflet without medical advice.

Types of pain:
Dolormin® Extra helps quickly and effectively with various types of pain, including headaches, which are one of the most common health problems, and menstrual pain, which can be a major burden on everyday life. If light exercise, fresh air or relaxation are not enough, Dolormin® Extra provides fast and long-lasting relief.
Mechanism of action:
Ibuprofen in Dolormin® Extra inhibits the enzymes involved in the production of prostaglandins, thereby reducing pain and inflammatory reactions. The lysine it contains enables better dissolution of ibuprofen in the stomach, resulting in a rapid effect.
Application:
Dolormin® Extra film-coated tablets are easy to divide thanks to the break notch. The dosage is based on body weight or age.
Age:
- 20 to 29 kg (children 6-9 years):
- Single dose: ½ film-coated tablet (200 mg ibuprofen)
- Maximum daily dose: 1½ film-coated tablets (600 mg ibuprofen)
- 30 to 39 kg (children 10-11 years):
- Single dose: ½ film-coated tablet (200 mg ibuprofen)
- Maximum daily dose: 2 film-coated tablets (800 mg ibuprofen)
- Over 40 kg (adolescents from 12 years and adults):
- Single dose: ½ to 1 film-coated tablet (200 to 400 mg ibuprofen)
- Maximum daily dose: 3 film-coated tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen)
Take the tablet whole with plenty of liquid. If you have a sensitive stomach, you can take it with a meal. Dolormin® Extra should be taken as prescribed by a doctor or as described in the package leaflet. If symptoms persist for longer than 3 days in children and adolescents, for adults with fever for longer than 3 days or with pain for longer than 4 days, please consult a doctor.
