The nasal CPAP system from Dräger promises therapeutic benefits as well as protection against intubation-related complications. In addition, high intensive care costs can be saved when using the BabyFlow®, as no additional ventilators are required when BabyFlow® is used with Babylog or Evita ventilators. To use BabyFlow® you need compliant software, such as the NIV/NeoFlow option for the Evita family. The selected CPAP pressure level is largely flow-independent. This makes respiratory support particularly quiet.
