EIFELFANGO Isotonic saline solution 0.9% in detail
The Isotonic saline solution for inhalation® is a product that has been specially developed for moisturising the mucous membranes of the upper and lower respiratory tract. This solution contains an appropriate amount of saline in water (0.9%) and is supplied in practical plastic ampoules that are easy to open. It can be inhaled using an ultrasonic nebuliser or a compressor-driven jet nebuliser to moisten the mucous membranes and support the natural cleansing mechanisms of the respiratory tract.
Thanks to its adaptation to physiological conditions, Isotonic Saline for Inhalation® is very well tolerated and has virtually no side effects. The common salt used for the product fulfils the high quality and purity requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia. The solution is sterile and contains no preservatives or other additives.
There are no concerns regarding the use of Isotonic Saline for Inhalation® in infants, children, the elderly or pregnant women, as the salt concentration is adapted to physiological conditions.
