Erler Zimmer Casualty Care Rescue Randy in detail
The Casualty Care Rescue Randy was developed to support emergency services personnel in training in TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) and TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care). It enables training in the treatment of the three most common preventable causes of death, including massive haemorrhage, tension pneumothorax and airway obstruction.
The Casualty Care Rescue Randy is an extremely robust full-body manikin with movable joints. Thanks to its realistic weight distribution, it mimics the human anatomy. It can also hold up to 3 to 4 litres of blood and has an adjustable pump system to simulate human blood flow (0.14 to 0.21 bar). This foot-operated pump system allows simultaneous bleeding of up to 3 wounds. There is also the option of purchasing an electrically operated deluxe pump system, which allows up to 4 wounds to bleed simultaneously.
The Casualty Care Rescue Randy comes with special blood powder (for approx. 19 litres), 3 repairable neck skins, 10 repairable tracheas and a repair kit. The manikin is male and measures 165 x 63.5 x 30.5 cm and weighs approx. 55 kg.
