The simulator for gynaecological examinations was developed by medical professionals specifically for medical professionals and healthcare professionals. With this simulator, you have the opportunity to practice various gynaecological examinations, including laparoscopic examinations and minilaparotomies.
The life-size female lower body contains important anatomical structures and allows you to perform bimanual palpation examinations, examinations of the normal and pregnant uterus, vaginal examinations (including the use of a speculum), visual examinations of the normal and abnormal cervix, uterine probing, insertion and removal of an IUD, insertion and removal of contraceptives, insertion and removal of a vaginal condom and the use of a vaginal diaphragm and pessary. In addition, the simulator also enables laparoscopic visualisation and occlusion of the fallopian tubes and the performance of a minilaparotomy.
The scope of delivery includes an anteverted and a retroverted uterus, a uterus at the 10th week of pregnancy, a postpartum uterus and a retroverted uterus.
