Erler Zimmer pelvis for demonstrating the birth canal in detail
This model provides a very clear illustration of the birth canal and the passage of the foetal head through the female pelvis during birth. The pelvic skeleton consists of movable hip bones to which a flexible symphysis is attached. The sacrum also has a flexible coccyx and there are two flexible lumbar vertebrae. The foetal skull is flexibly mounted on the base board via a metal spiral tube so that it can move freely.
This model gives you a detailed insight into the birth process and allows you to understand the various movements of the foetus in the female pelvis.
