Product details & mandatory information
The Resusci Junior QCPR offers you realistic and highly qualified training in paediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This anatomically realistic model shows all the relevant features to learn the correct procedures and expertise required to perform CPR on a child. The weight and size of the model is that of a 5-year-old child, simulating the problems that can occur in a real emergency. The Resusci Junior QCPR allows the simulation of a bilateral carotid pulse to perform a realistic pulse check. Thanks to the simple handling with one-way airways, operation is child's play. The natural airway placement allows students to learn important techniques to open the airway and effectively ventilate the patient. Realistic compression resistance allows students to find the depth of pressure needed, which is critical in a real emergency. Included in delivery are a transport bag with integrated training mat, 4 different face pieces, 3 airways, 18 disinfectant wipes and instructions for use.
The brand new version of the paediatric CPR model offers additional functions and improved features. The improved compression mechanism is human-like and stable. The model complies with the 2015 guidelines and allows a compression depth of 50 to 60 mm. Ventilation is realistically designed and can be performed with a bag-mask combination as well as with mouth-to-mouth ventilation. Chest lift, neck tilt and optional acoustic feedback can also be used. The model's new electronics use Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) and sensors for improved data transmission. The Resusci Junior QCPR can be battery-powered or mains-powered. The training mat also functions as a carrying case to transport the model safely and conveniently.
