Erler Zimmer foot phantom for CT, X-ray and radiotherapy in detail
The phantom offers you an extremely realistic simulation of a foot. Pathologies such as fractures, calcifications, bone and soft tissue tumours can be integrated on request. The phantom was created from real patient data and manufactured using state-of-the-art technology.
The bones, vessels and soft tissue are authentically represented and have realistic CT values for all tissues at a tube voltage of 120 kVp in the CT. If you wish to use the phantom primarily at other tube voltages, the CT values can be adjusted accordingly.
The phantom ensures realistic tissue contrasts in X-ray imaging. The air spaces in the phantom are filled with a material that has approximately -80 Hounsfield units.
The foot phantom provides you with an extremely realistic simulation of a foot. You have the option of integrating pathologies such as fractures, calcifications, bones and soft tissue tumours if desired. The size of the phantom is 10x12x25cm.
