Take the medicine with liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water). If you have difficulty swallowing, the capsule can be opened and taken with liquid or semi-solid food.
Duration of use?
The duration of use depends on the type of complaint and/or duration of the illness and is therefore only determined by your doctor.
Overdosage?
Overdosage can lead to a drop in blood pressure, restlessness, general weakness, slow pulse, life-threatening cardiac arrhythmia, paresthesia, paralysis and states of confusion. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.
In general: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing, especially with infants, small children and the elderly. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautions.
A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information on the package leaflet. Since the doctor will adjust it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.

The medicine must be stored away from moisture (e.g. in a tightly closed container).

The medicinal product may be used for a maximum of 6 months after opening/preparation!

- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
- Too high a potassium content in the blood
- Lack of fluids
- Restricted excretory function of the kidneys
- Adrenal cortical hypofunction#Addison's disease
- Hereditary muscle disease (hyperkalaemic periodic paralysis)
- Hereditary anaemia (sickle cell anaemia)
- Metabolic imbalances in the acidic range
Which age group should be considered?
- Children and adolescents under 18 years of age: The medicine should generally not be used in this age group.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: According to current knowledge, the medicine has no harmful effects on the development of your child or the birth.
- Breastfeeding: According to current knowledge, there is no evidence that the medicine should not be used during breastfeeding.
If you have been prescribed the medicine despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit may be greater than the risk associated with use in the case of a contraindication.
