Product details & mandatory information

KaWe F.O. FLAPLIGHT Macintosh blade in detail

Macintosh blade with interchangeable fibre optics

The Macintosh blade with its flexible tip makes it easier to lift the epiglottis and enables a clear view during intubation, even in difficult anatomical conditions. The improved view and reduced leverage minimise the risk of injury to the larynx and teeth. The fibre optics cannot be replaced by the patient, so the blade must be sent to KaWe.

Main features:

  • Can be angled up to 60°
  • Made of matt stainless steel to prevent back reflections
  • Replaceable light guides for high flexibility
  • Easy to clean
  • Environmentally friendly and economical
  • 4 mm diameter fibre optic with at least 5500 individual fibres
  • Can be autoclaved up to 134°C, for approx. 4000 cycles
