How do the ingredients of the medicine work?

The medicine consists of a combination of active ingredients. It contains digestive enzymes obtained from the pancreas of pigs. These are very similar to the naturally occurring digestive enzymes in the human gastrointestinal tract and mix with the chyme in the stomach and intestines after ingestion. There they help to break down the food by splitting the fats, proteins and carbohydrates into smaller units. In this way, the digestion of food is supported. The medicine also contains simeticone. The active ingredient helps against flatulence. This is caused by accumulated gas in the gastrointestinal tract, which is present in the form of a fine foam. The active ingredient promotes the removal of the gases by destroying this foam.
