The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

How to use?
Drip the medicine into the/each nostril. Clean the nose beforehand by blowing vigorously. Put your head back for the application. To avoid infection, the medicine should only be used by one patient at a time.

Duration of use?
The medicine should not be used for longer than 7 days without medical advice. Reapplication should only take place after a break of several days.

Overdosage?
Overdosing can lead to nausea, fever, cramps, respiratory disorders, cardiovascular disorders and cardiac arrest. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.

As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing, especially with infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.

A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. As the doctor will personalise it, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.

The medicine may be used for a maximum of 6 months after opening/preparation!
The medicine must be stored at room temperature after opening/preparation.

Under certain circumstances - talk to your doctor or pharmacist:
- Cardiovascular diseases, such as:
- High blood pressure
- Coronary heart disease (circulatory disorders of the heart muscle)
- Enlargement of the prostate
- Metabolic diseases, such as
- Hyperthyroidism
- Diabetes mellitus (diabetes)
- porphyria
- Pheochromocytoma (adrenaline-producing tumour)
- Increased intraocular pressure (glaucoma), especially narrow-angle glaucoma

Which age group should be considered?
- Children from 1 year of age: The medicine should not generally be used in this group. There are preparations that are more suitable in terms of active ingredient strength and/or pharmaceutical form.

What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor or pharmacist. They will check your particular situation and advise you accordingly as to whether and how you can continue breastfeeding.

If you have been prescribed the medicine despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit may be greater than the risk associated with use in the case of a contraindication.what adverse effects can occur?

- Angioneurotic oedema (swelling of the face, hands and feet)

How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?

The active ingredient swells the nasal mucosa and stops the enormous secretion production of the nose during a cold. This allows patients to breathe more freely again. The active ingredient also relieves eye irritation (caused by draughts, for example) by contracting the dilated veins in the eyeball, thereby reducing excessive blood flow to the mucous membrane.
