The splint for the half arm (forearm) enables straight extension of the arm. This splint is designed to gently and safely splint fractures, sprains and dislocations in adults. The injured leg or arm rests in a stabilising air cushion to prevent nerve damage or circulatory problems. At the same time, neighbouring joints are kept at rest.
Material and design:
The splint consists of a robust, double-laminated special plastic film made of PVC material. It has a thickness of approx. 0.3 mm and is transparent, hard-wearing and temperature-resistant. The splint is closed towards the body with a textile zip with plastic teeth and is operated via a valve. It is radiolucent and easy to clean and disinfect.
