Rivanol ointment contains the active ingredient ethacridine lactate monohydrate and belongs to the group of antiseptics. This ointment is used to reduce germs on the skin and is effective against a variety of pathogens by inhibiting their cell wall structure and thus leading to the rapid death of the bacteria.
Ingredients
- Active ingredient: ethacridine lactate monohydrate (2 mg per 1 g ointment)
- Other ingredients: Zinc oxide, wheat starch, isopropyl myristate, white vaseline, alpha-(hexadecyl,octadecyl)-omega-hydroxypoly(oxyethylene)-3,5, purified water
How to use
- Dosage: Apply Rivanol Ointment 3 times daily in a thin layer to the affected skin area.
- Method of application: For external use only. Apply a thin layer of ointment to speed up the drying process and prevent congestion.
- Duration of treatment: Do not use for longer than 7 days without medical advice.
