Duration of use?
The medicine should not be used for longer than 2 weeks. As a rule, however, the duration of treatment should be as short as possible and only last a few days. If your symptoms persist for longer, you should consult your doctor.
Overdosage?
Overdosing can lead to drowsiness, impaired consciousness, hallucinations and cardiovascular disorders. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.
As a general rule: Pay particular attention to a conscientious dosage for infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.

- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients

- Achalasia (narrowing of the oesophagus)
- Pyloric stenosis (narrowing of the stomach)
- Narrow-angle glaucoma
- Pheochromocytoma (adrenaline-producing tumour)
- Prostate enlargement with residual urine formation
- Difficulties urinating
- epilepsy
- Disorders of the salt balance, such as
- Potassium deficiency
- magnesium deficiency
- Reduced pulse rate
- Heart diseases, such as
- Deviation in the ECG (prolongation of the QT duration)
- Coronary heart disease (circulatory disorders of the heart muscle)
- Conduction disorders of the heart
- Cardiac arrhythmia
Under certain circumstances - talk to your doctor or pharmacist about this:
- Chronic obstructive airway disease (chronic airway disease with a narrowing of the airways)
- Impaired kidney function
- Impaired liver function
Which age group should be considered?
- Children and adolescents under 18 years of age: The medicine must not be used.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: The medicinal product must not be used.
- Breastfeeding: The medicine must not be used.

- The ability to react may be impaired even when used as intended, especially at higher doses or in combination with alcohol. Pay particular attention when driving or operating machinery (including household machinery) that could cause injury.
- Avoid excessive UV radiation, e.g. in solariums or during extended sunbathing, as the skin reacts more sensitively during the use of the medicine.
- Sudden discontinuation may cause problems or discomfort. Treatment should therefore be stopped slowly, i.e. by gradually reducing the dose. It is best to seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
- Caution: If you use the medicine for a long time, the body may become accustomed to it and you may need an increasingly higher dosage in order to feel any effect.
- Take care if you are intolerant to lactose. If you have to follow a diabetes diet, you should take the sugar content into account.

- There may be medicines with which interactions occur. How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?
The active ingredient blocks receptors for a specific messenger substance called histamine. Via this blockade, it suppresses vasodilation and increased blood flow in the smallest hair vessels (capillaries) triggered by histamine. It also combats nausea via the same mechanism and has a calming and sleep-promoting effect.
