Auricularia judae (Judas ears)
The Auricularia vital mushroom, also known as Judas ear, is a well-known edible mushroom in Germany. It takes its name from the legend that Judas is said to have hanged himself from an elder tree after betraying Christ, with mushroom-like formations growing on its trunk. In Chinese cuisine, it is also known as mu-err. In Asia, it is an important part of the diet and has also been known in Europe for over 1500 years. The Auricularia mushroom is very hardy and can even survive frost. It can sometimes even be found under snow in winter. Its ingredients are very valuable.
Recommended intake: Take 3 g of powder or 2 scoops daily with sufficient liquid. The powder can also be mixed into food (2 measuring spoons correspond to 3 g powder).
