B. Braun Perican® Paed cannulas in detail
The B. Braun Perican® Paed cannulas with Tuohy cut are used for epidural anaesthesia in paediatrics. The stitch lengths are adapted to the conditions in paediatrics. The Tuohy cut offers superior puncture characteristics, minimises the risk of perforation and enables safe catheter placement. Thanks to the 5 mm markings, an exact epidural puncture is guaranteed. The precisely fitting stylet prevents tissue punch-outs and protects against the development of epidural tumours.
