How should it be used?
Take the medicine. You can dilute the medicine with water or tea.

Duration of use?
The duration of use depends on the nature of the symptoms and/or the course of the illness. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Overdosage?
Overdosing can lead to diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness and increased heart rate, among other things. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.

Forgotten to take it?
Continue taking the medicine as normal (i.e. not double the amount) at the next prescribed time.

As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing for infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.

A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. Since the doctor will adjust it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.

Storage before opening
The medicine must be stored away from heat.
Storage after opening or preparation
The medicinal product may be used for a maximum of 6 months after opening/preparation!
The medicinal product must be stored at room temperature after opening/preparation.

Under certain circumstances - talk to your doctor or pharmacist:
- Tendency to seizures, as with:
- epilepsy
- Impaired kidney function

Which age group should be considered?
- Infants and young children under 2 years of age: The medicine should not generally be used in this age group.

What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor or pharmacist. They will check your particular situation and advise you accordingly as to whether and how you can continue breastfeeding.

- Caution in case of allergy to the sweetener saccharin (E number E 954)!
- Parabens (preservatives e.g. E 214 - E 219) can cause hypersensitivity reactions, even with a time delay.
- Take care if you are intolerant to fructose (fruit sugar). If you have to follow a diabetes diet, you should take the sugar content into account.
How does the ingredient of the medicine work?

The active ingredient helps with allergies and soothes itching. It suppresses the effect of the body's own substance histamine and prostaglandins in two ways: Firstly, it inhibits the release of the substances from the mast cells (special defense cells) of the blood and tissue; secondly, it displaces the substances from their binding sites. As tissue hormones and messenger substances, histamine and prostaglandins play an important role in the development of inflammation and allergic reactions.
