Dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) 70% is a diluted DMSO solution made from 99.9% DMSO (Ph. Eur.) and water (Ph. Eur.). This 70% DMSO solution serves as a transmitter and enhancer and is a universal all-purpose solvent. DMSO is known for its garlic-like odour and has a wide range of applications. Dilution to 70% lowers the freezing point of the solution to below -40°C, making it easy to use at different temperatures. Supplied in a pharmaceutical amber glass bottle with a 3 ml Pasteur pipette.
