The amino acid supplement L-Carnosine is a combination of the two amino acids alanine and histidine. This amino acid, which occurs naturally in the human body, is found in long-lived cells and organs and acts as an antioxidant. With increasing age, the carnosine level in the body decreases, which is why it must be supplemented through food. L-carnosine is mainly found in animal foods, but also in milk, eggs and cheese.

Our L-carnosine capsules contain only 100% pure L-carnosine of the highest quality. The capsule material consists of HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) and is therefore suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. It is a water-soluble vegetable capsule shell.
