Lefax® intens Lemon Fresh Micro Granules are a medical device containing 250 mg simeticone. It dissolves immediately in the mouth and is finely distributed in the stomach and intestines. The higher dosage makes it particularly effective for gas-related gastrointestinal complaints such as flatulence, bloating and cramp-like abdominal pain. Despite the higher dosage, it is well tolerated and also safe for pregnant women.
Indications:
- Relief of gas-related gastrointestinal complaints such as flatulence, bloating and abdominal pain
- Preparation for abdominal imaging examinations such as endoscopy, X-ray and sonography
Dosage and use:
- Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over take 1 sachet (250 mg simeticone) for gas-related complaints, maximum 4 sachets per day.
- In preparation for imaging examinations, 1-2 sachets are taken the day before the examination and 1 sachet on the morning of the examination.
- The granules are taken with or after meals and can be placed directly on the tongue, where they dissolve in the saliva and are then swallowed. Water can be drunk if necessary.
Advice:
- The duration of use should not exceed 30 days unless a doctor recommends otherwise.
- A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if you are unsure about how to use the product.
