Dulse flakes in proven organic quality
The mineral-rich dulse algae, also known as red algae or lappentang, grows in the cold coastal waters of the Atlantic and Pacific. It has a savoury taste of crustaceans and prawns.
Our dulse flakes are organically grown in the wild on the Atlantic coast of Spain.
Due to the high iodine content, you should only enjoy some algae in moderation.

Preparation: First wash the dulse flakes and leave to soak in water for 10-15 minutes. Then rinse well and use in soups or vegetable dishes.
Note: When soaked in water, the weight/volume increases sixfold
Recommended intake: Consume 3 g of dulse flakes once a day sprinkled over or in food.
Consumer information: Dulse is naturally rich in iodine. Excessive intake of iodine can lead to thyroid disorders. Recommended average daily intake should not exceed 0.2 mg iodine.
Storage instructions: Store in a cool, dry place and keep out of the reach of small children.
