This herbal medicine was developed to relieve prostate-related urinary symptoms. It contains 320 mg saw palmetto fruit extract (8-13:1) as the active ingredient, which has been extracted with ethanol 90% (V/V). It also contains excipients such as iron oxides, gelatine polysuccinate and glycerol 85%.
Active ingredient: Saba extract
Indications:
This product helps with urinary complaints due to benign enlargement of the prostate (stage I to II according to Alken or II to III according to Vahlensieck).
Dosage form:
These are capsules containing 320 mg extract.
Pack sizes:
Available in pack sizes of 20, 60 (N1) and 120 (N2) capsules.
Daily dose:
The recommended daily dose is 1 capsule per day.
Tolerance:
This product does not impair the ability to operate machinery or participate in road traffic. It is also suitable for long-term therapy.
Side effects/interactions/ contraindications:
- Frequent: mild gastrointestinal complaints.
- Occasional: Hypersensitivity reactions such as itching, skin rash, hives.
- Interactions are possible with anticoagulants and antiandrogens.
Mode of action:
This product has a multifactorial mode of action that is anti-inflammatory, decongestant, anti-oedema, anti-proliferative, antiandrogenic and antispasmodic. It is effective, well tolerated and proven in long-term therapy. Each capsule contains a high-dose 320 mg active ingredient extract, the effectiveness of which has been clinically proven.
