OFTEN QUESTIONED

The cap on my syrup won't open - what can I do?

Unfortunately, sometimes a drop of syrup gets stuck on the outside edge of the bottle neck when the syrup is being bottled. This can cause the cap to stick and make it difficult to open.

During production, we try to avoid this as much as possible - but unfortunately it is not 100% preventable.

Our tip for solving the problem:

Hold the closed bottle neck under hot water from the tap for approx. 30 seconds (please be careful with the hot water!).

This should dissolve the syrup in the cap and make the bottle easier to open.

Why apple syrup instead of sugar?

The natural sweetener apple syrup (also known as apple juice concentrate) contains minerals, trace elements and secondary plant substances from the apple juice from which it is made. Compared to refined sugar, apple syrup has a slightly lower sweetening power, contains on average 35% fewer calories and causes blood sugar levels to rise by around half as much. It has a sweet and sour apple flavour.
