Vagisan Moisturising Cream is a hormone-free cream that has been developed to relieve the burning, itching and pain of vaginal dryness. It contains active ingredients such as sodium DL-lactate, octyldodecanol and lactic acid, which help to moisturise the vagina and keep it supple.
Unlike most water-based gels, Vagisan Moisturising Cream is a cream with a high water and fat content. This enables the cream to provide the dry vagina with moisture and nourishing lipids and relieve the symptoms of vaginal dryness such as dryness, burning, itching and pain.
The cream has a pH value of 4.5, which supports a natural acidity level in the vagina. It is free from hormones and fragrances and can therefore also be used in combination with systemic hormone replacement therapy or with vaginal creams or suppositories containing hormones.
Regular use of Vagisan Moisturising Cream can help to prevent irritation, inflammation and pain in the vagina and external genital area due to vaginal dryness. It can also be used as a lubricating cream before sexual intercourse, especially if pain occurs during sex.
The cream does not affect sperm motility and can therefore also be used if you are trying to conceive. Vaginal dryness often occurs in women during or after the menopause, but can also affect younger women. The causes can be a lack of oestrogen, hormonal fluctuations or stress.
Vagisan Moisturising Cream makes the sensitive skin in the intimate area pleasantly supple and can relieve pain during intimate intercourse due to a dry vagina.
