algovir® Effect Nasal Spray offers an effective defence against cold viruses, especially in the cold season. The nature-based active ingredient Carragelose®, obtained from red algae, forms a protective film on the nasal mucosa, envelops viruses and prevents them from penetrating and multiplying. As a result, algovir® can prevent a complete outbreak of colds and alleviate existing cold symptoms.
Active ingredients:
- 0.4 mg kappa-carrageenan: Forms a protective film on the nasal mucosa.
- 1.2 mg iota-carrageenan: Supports the defence against viruses.
Excipients:
- Purified water, sodium chloride.
Directions for use:
- Frequency: Spray one puff into each nostril at least three times a day.
- Prophylactic: Can also be used preventively to support the natural defence of the nasal mucosa.
- Long-lasting: Suitable for use over longer periods of time.
Application groups:
- Adults and children from 6 years of age: Also suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
- Children between 1 and 5 years: Specially adapted spray volume.

- Solution: Clear, colourless, viscous solution without odour.
- 1 ml solution contains: 1.2 mg iota-carrageenan (Carragelose®), 0.4 mg kappa-carrageenan, sodium chloride, purified water.
