B. Braun Pivot-Point bipolar forceps in detail


The Pivot-Point facilitates coagulation at depth. This is particularly helpful for very narrow approaches, as the pivot point opens again when additional pressure is applied to the tips of the forceps, thus enabling coagulation. The Yasargil handle and the slim design at the working end simplify work during deep surgery. Thanks to higher spring tension, Yasargil forceps are also suitable for dissecting and spreading tissue. The working ends of the forceps are straight or curved upwards, depending on the version.
