B. Braun Monomax® suture material in detail
The Monomax® suture material is ultra-long reamable, resorbable, elastic and monofilament and consists of poly-4-hydroxybutyrate. Compared to conventional sutures with a long reamable life, Monomax® offers significantly longer reamability. It supports the abdominal wall for up to six months and therefore promises maximum functionality. In addition, the elasticity of the suture material absorbs the dynamics and the resulting tension in the fascia after laparotomy closure.
