The Accu-Chek Guide, Instant & Performa platform requires 3-volt lithium button cells of type CR2032. When replacing the batteries, both button cells should always be replaced at the same time. Batteries from the same manufacturer should always be used. All data remains stored in the device even when the batteries are replaced.
