The VentStar® Helix breathing tube system in detail
The VentStar® Helix breathing tube system is a dual-heated or heated tube system made of EVA. The gas-carrying component is plasticiser-free. Thanks to (dual) heated tubes, particularly gentle ventilation of intensive care patients is ensured by warming and humidifying the supplied breathing air. Lung damage caused by cold, dry air is largely eliminated and mucociliary clearance is improved. The innovative double spiral warms the breathing air more evenly than conventional breathing air hoses.
