Dräger VarioAir® ejector in detail
The VarioAir® ejector can be attached either directly to a central compressed air supply or to a rail. The vacuum can be continuously adjusted to a maximum of -90 kPa (-900 mbar). This is indicated on the rotating pressure gauge, which can be read from all sides. All versions are equipped with a pressure relief valve (from 0.1 kPa), which prevents the patient's pressure from rising. The vacuum setting knob is also used as an on/off switch to interrupt suction. The previously set vacuum is not changed. Each ejector is supplied with a VarioSafe® filter system, which helps to prevent contamination.
