The abdominal phantom for CT, X-ray and radiotherapy is a high-quality product that enables a very realistic simulation of an abdomen with contrast medium. It is based on real patient data and is manufactured using state-of-the-art technology.
The phantom authentically depicts bones, vessels and soft tissue and provides realistic CT values for all tissues at a tube voltage of 120 kVp in CT. On request, the calibration of the CT values can also be adjusted for other tube voltages such as 100 kVp.
The phantom ensures realistic tissue contrasts in X-ray imaging. Air spaces are filled with a material that has approximately -80 Hounsfield units.
The abdominal phantom covers the abdomen from the tenth thoracic vertebra to the fourth lumbar vertebra and includes the liver and both kidneys. The size is 27x18x17cm.
