Erler Zimmer simulator for transcranial approaches in detail
The human skull with all craniometric points, fissures and canals is a realistic and detailed model derived from a real human CT scan. It is scaled to a 1:1 size and has similar drilling characteristics to the human bone. The model includes the skin, the intracranial dura, the falx, the tentorium, the venous sinuses as well as all cranial nerves, arteries, the brain, the cerebellum and the brain stem. It also contains various pathologies such as olfactory groove meningioma, sphenoid wing meningioma, parafalcine meningioma, trigeminal schwannoma and vestibular schwannoma, all from real cases. The DICOM images for preoperative planning are also included. With this model, you have the opportunity to study the anatomy of the human skull and the various pathologies in detail.
