DHA, a polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid, plays a crucial role in the healthy brain and eye development of the foetus. Femibion® 2 Pregnancy contains 200 mg DHA, a contribution to healthy development that is important during both pregnancy and breastfeeding. In addition to the recommended 250 mg of omega-3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA) for adults, an additional intake of 200 mg of DHA is recommended.
Femibion® products also contain Folic Acid Plus, a combination of folic acid and the directly absorbable Metafolin®, which increases folate levels and thus supports the healthy development of the baby¹.
