Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel in detail
Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel: Intensive moisturisation for dry eyes
Hyaluronic acid is the main active ingredient in Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel. This natural substance is found both in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film. The gel is supplied in an innovative SafeDrop® system, a preservative-free multi-dose container from OmniVision. It provides improved and long-lasting moisturisation of the ocular surface and is also suitable for wetting hard and soft contact lenses during wear to significantly improve comfort.
The viscoelastic properties of the gel ensure a stable and long-lasting tear film without impairing vision. This provides long-term relief from symptoms such as dryness, irritation and mild irritation, especially in situations such as environmental stress caused by air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness or air pollution. It also provides relief from fatigue and visual stress caused by intensive viewing of computer screens, microscopes or long car journeys. In addition, Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel is also helpful when using contact lenses or diagnostic eye procedures.
It is important to note that certain medications (such as birth control pills, anti-allergic drugs, psychotropic drugs and sleeping pills) as well as medical eye procedures (such as LASIK or refractive surgery) can cause dry eyes.
Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel can be used several times a day. If your symptoms persist after using the gel, it is recommended that you consult an ophthalmologist.
The ingredients of Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel include sodium hyaluronate (0.30%), sodium citrate, sodium chloride, citric acid and purified water.
