The closed DeltaVen catheter system from icu medical is easy to insert and available in various sizes and configurations - suitable for all needs and customised to the patient. The 26 G catheter system in particular is unique, as it is the only one available on the market that fulfils the requirements for neonates, children and oncology. The design of the catheters is efficient and contributes to the optimisation of all work steps. The connection is transparent, which ensures the detection of blood residues and thus the assessment of necessary access flushes. DeltaVen also features passive protection and blood control technology that protects against needle sticks and blood exposure. The integrated extension set minimises the risk of contamination caused by repeated disconnection and reconnection. In addition, a closed catheter system can reduce mechanical phlebitis by 36%.
The DeltaVen catheters are supplied in a box containing 4 boxes of 25 (= 100 in total).
