Detailed product description
The Shiley adult tracheostomy tubes feature a unique tapered cuff to control ventilator leakage at safe internal cuff pressure and to improve perpendicular sealing. They are manufactured with citrate-based plasticisers. The connector integrated into the outer cannula allows ventilation with or without an inner cannula. It is suitable for percutaneous procedures. A bevelled tip enables use with loading dilators and facilitates percutaneous insertion. The transparent flange enables easy handling.
