Sonnentor sprout mix in detail
It's all in the mix! Fenugreek, lentils and radish enjoy the same upbringing, which is why they germinate excellently together. Soak the seeds for 6-8 hours and then leave to sprout in the sprouting jar for 5 to 6 days. During this time, rinse well twice a day. After just a few days, we harvest what we see: a delicious trio of sprouts!
Note: Green lentils are currently sometimes used in our sprout mixes instead of brown lentils.

OFTEN QUESTIONED
Why do fenugreek seeds remain hard even after germination?
Unfortunately, seeds that occasionally remain hard are a general issue with fenugreek. Fenugreek is a legume. The seeds ripen in pods and are threshed and gently dried. Upon receipt, each of our sprouted seeds is cleaned, sorted and checked for germination. The germination capacity of seeds depends on the growing conditions of the plants. In principle, it is possible that not all seeds of a sprouting seed will germinate; this is in the hands of Mother Nature. Experience shows that germination rates are between 80 % and 98 %.
Most of the non-germinating seeds swell and become soft. Occasionally, however, some seeds can remain hard. As the non-swelling seeds do not differ noticeably in appearance, size and weight from the germinating seeds when dry, 100% cleaning is unfortunately not possible. We are working hard to improve the cleaning process.
