Tebonin forte 40mg in detail

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Method of use?

Take the medicine with liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water). You should stand or sit upright when taking the medicine.

Duration of use?

You should not use the medicine for longer than 3 months without medical advice. General duration of treatment: memory disorders at least 8 weeks, arterial occlusive disease at least 6 weeks, dizziness 6-8 weeks, for tinnitus 3-6 months.

Overdose?

Overdose may result in gastrointestinal complaints, headaches and allergic skin reactions. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.

If you forget to take it?

Continue taking it as normal (i.e. not double the amount) at the next prescribed time.
As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing in infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautions.
A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information on the package leaflet. As the doctor will adjust it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.

- Children and adolescents under 18 years of age: The medicinal product should not generally be used in this age group.

- Pregnancy: The medicinal product must not be used.
- Lactation: Based on current knowledge, use is not recommended. Breastfeeding may need to be considered.

What should you be aware of?

How do the ingredients of the medicine work?

The ingredients come from the ginkgo plant and act as a natural mixture. About the plant itself:
- Appearance: stately, dioecious tree with characteristic fan-shaped, parallel-veined leaves that glow golden yellow in autumn; the female cones smell unpleasantly of butyric acid
- Occurrence: China, Japan, Korea
- Main ingredients: ginkgolides, bilobalide, flavonoids
- Plant parts and preparations used: mainly extracts of the dried leaves
- Extracts of ginkgo improve the fluidity of the blood and promote cerebral circulation.

Application

- Performance disorders due to changes in the brain (dementia), such as:

- Poor concentration

- Memory disorders

- Circulatory disorders, especially of the arms and legs (peripheral arterial occlusive disease)

- Dizziness- Tinnitus (ringing in the ears), for supportive treatmentBefore treatment with this medicine, an examination by your doctor should be carried out.

See your doctor immediately if additional symptoms such as sudden hearing loss or hearing loss occur.

Dosage

For poor concentration and memory impairment:

- 1-2 tablets

- 3 times daily

- Adults

- morning, noon and evening, regardless of meal time
