B. Braun Dafilon® for microsurgery and ophthalmic surgery in detail

Dafilon® suture material black is ideal for use in microsurgery and ophthalmic surgery. Made from polyamide 6, the suture material is non-absorbable and uncoated. The suture structure is monofilament and it is synthetic. Although it is non-absorbable, progressive hydrolysis can result in a gradual loss of tensile strength over time, as with all nylon suture materials.

Dafilon® is available in blue, undyed or black - you can find all variants and sizes in our online shop!
