The stems of the bamboo are very hard, yet remain flexible. The reason for this is the high proportion of silicon. In our body, the elasticity of the connective tissue and the skin's ability to retain moisture are closely linked to the trace element silicon, which the body cannot produce itself. Fast-growing tissue such as hair and fingernails also require silicon for strength and healthy structure. Over time, the silicon content decreases, so an additional natural source of silicon can counteract a deficiency. Interestingly, bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world and has the highest storage capacity for solar energy.
We only supply bamboo extract with an exceptionally high content of silicic acid (75%) from certified organic cultivation. Bamboo extract is the richest source of silicic acid and organic silicon, which is important for the human body. Organically bound silicon from bamboo extract helps the skin to absorb minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium.
Organically bound silicon from organic bamboo extract
Organically bound silicon is found in plants and other organisms in the form of orthosilicic acid and is normally poorly available due to the presence of certain dietary fibres. The extraction process, which is carried out using only water and no toxic solvents, flushes out the indigestible fibres from our 75% silica extract. This results in the best bioavailability of the organically bound silicon.

Recommended intake: Stir 2 scoops (included) into a drink of your choice and drink daily.
