Benzaknen 5% in detail
Benzaknen® 5% Gel is an effective treatment for mild to moderate acne. The active ingredient benzoyl peroxide (BPO) fights acne bacteria and ensures a visible skin appearance after just 1-2 weeks. It reduces pimples, blackheads and inflammation without any habituation effect and offers lasting effectiveness. The gel is applied daily to cleansed skin and improves the skin's appearance by opening clogged pores and draining excess sebum. Supported by a non-comedogenic moisturiser, it helps to minimise skin irritation and promote healthy skin.
Application:
- Cleanse the skin thoroughly before use.
- Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected areas of skin.
- Apply once or twice a day.
- Allow the gel to dry and then apply a moisturiser.
Ingredients:
- Active ingredients: 50 mg benzoyl peroxide
- Excipients: Disodium edetate-2-water, silicon dioxide, highly dispersed, acrylate copolymer, sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment, water, purified, carbomer 940, propylene glycol, poloxamer 182, glycerol, docusate sodium
Special notes:
- Initially, skin irritation may occur, which normally subsides after a few days.
- If success is visible, use can be continued over a longer period of time.
- Avoid contact with eyes, nasal and oral mucous membranes.
- Use white towels and bed linen as BPO can bleach textiles.
Areas of application:
- Mild to moderate acne
- Typical acne symptoms such as pimples, blackheads and inflammatory lesions
Consumption recommendation:
- Use daily as required, morning and evening.
Note:
- Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Store at room temperature, out of the reach of children.
