Cleartest® HCV in detail
The Cleartest® HCV in cassette form is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of hepatitis C virus (HCV) antibodies in human whole blood, serum or plasma.
Hepatitis C is caused by HCV, an RNA virus that can cause acute and chronic liver infections. The test utilises colloidal gold conjugate and recombinant HCV proteins to detect specific antibodies.
