Method of use?

Take the medicine with liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).
Or: Prepare the medicine and take it. To do this, mix it in plenty of liquid (no milk).
In case of poisoning: It should only be used by specialised personnel or under their supervision.

Duration of use?

In case of diarrhoea: You should not use the medicine for longer than 3 days without medical advice.

Overdose?

No overdose symptoms are known. If in doubt, consult your doctor.

How does the ingredient of the medicine work?

Medicated charcoal binds non-specific dissolved particles, such as toxins or bacteria. The effect is due to the fact that medicinal charcoal forms a scaffold with many pores. This provides a large surface area that can "capture" small dissolved particles. The effect is primarily felt in the intestine, allowing the bound substances to be excreted together with the stool.

- Diarrhoea, especially acute

Dosage

For diarrhoea:

- 1-2 tablets

- 3-5 times daily

- Children and adolescents up to 14 years of age

- Before a meal (on an empty stomach)
