Product details & mandatory information
Dentosafe® in detail
The Dentosafe® tooth rescue box offers a temporary storage solution for chipped or broken teeth or tooth fragments until reimplantation. It is a single-use medical device that should not be reused after use in order to preserve the vitality of the cells.
The tooth rescue box is specially designed for storing a tooth. A red colour of the solution indicates functionality and durability. If the red colour is missing or the box is damaged, it should not be used.
In an emergency, the Dentosafe® tooth rescue box is immediately ready for use. The tooth is placed in the bottle with the tip of the tooth root facing downwards, without touching the tooth root. The box is sealed tightly and can be safely transported to the dentist or dental clinic.
The Dentosafe® storage solution preserves the cell vitality of the tooth for at least 24 hours at room temperature, which is crucial for successful reimplantation. The bottle label should be labelled with the patient's initials, date and time of insertion.
Dentosafe® is not suitable for ingestion and should be kept out of the reach of children. The shelf life is indicated on the packaging and Dentosafe® should not be used after the expiry date. The original packaging protects the contents from light and should be used for storage.
