Drainage device for permanent, wound and thoracic drainage in detail
The vacuum of the permanent drainage devices can be generated either by an ejector or a vacuum regulator. When using an ejector, a filter protects against contamination of the device or the patient environment. All continuous pneumatic drainage systems are suitable for use in areas with a risk of explosion. Plastic components can be autoclaved at 134°C. Both versions can be used with a VarioVac® or VarioAir® controller. Thanks to the additional fine control valve, the setting of even the smallest underpressures is made easier.
