The Rufus first aid training manikin is a high-quality learning device for people who want to learn intensive care therapy. This life-size model enables practical skills and modern dressing techniques to be practised.
In addition to first aid, the training manikin can also be used for practising mouth-to-nose resuscitation. The knees, elbows, carpal and ankle joints on the left side can be moved up to 90 degrees. The shoulder and hip joints can also be rotated by 90 degrees.
With the new functions, learners can now also practise the Velpeau sling on the right front leg and the Ehmer sling on the right rear leg. The accessories include five disposable lungs, a brush and a carrying case with knee cushion.
There are a variety of dressing techniques that can be practised with Rufus, such as Tracheal, vesicular and bronchovesicular bandage, 90/90 sling, carpal sling, Robert Jones bandage, Velpeau sling, Ehmer sling, limb bandage with tape attachment, chest bandage, tail bandage, padded hip bandage, head and ear bandage and plaster casts.
